fall in fairhope- fine art

It's fall here. Just that simple lower south fall. It's noticeable some days and not so noticed on others. There aren't big foliage color displays or fancy huge piles of fallen leaves at the curbside. It's daintier in the coastal south. You can tell in the daylighting and by the number of acorns the oaks start shedding.  The pings of the acorns hitting below become yard music. The humidity is bearable. You can stand to ride the bike again and walk the dog. It's a seasonal change that is long awaited and comes just in time for a roundup of holidays and gatherings. Mmmmmmmmm- fall.

I spent a fun week at my sister's house in NC this past week. We were all due of some quality time with each other. The house was energy packed with 6 kids total between us. At the end of our stay, my 3 nephews obliged in a quick and spontaneous garage session. I loved using the Lensbaby and adding a twist with objects in their hands- it's all boy, boy, boy!
