It's fall here. Just that simple lower south fall. It's noticeable some days and not so noticed on others. There aren't big foliage color displays or fancy huge piles of fallen leaves at the curbside. It's daintier in the coastal south. You can tell in the daylighting and by the number of acorns the oaks start shedding. The pings of the acorns hitting below become yard music. The humidity is bearable. You can stand to ride the bike again and walk the dog. It's a seasonal change that is long awaited and comes just in time for a roundup of holidays and gatherings. Mmmmmmmmm- fall.
