Many months have passed since I laid down in the lush green, carpet grass in Wyoming listening to vibrant stories being told to me by my 4 year old niece. I filmed my heart away as she read over and over her interpretation of the book. Patiently, I kept focusing as I hoped I could eventually string a video story together for her mom and dad. I've eagerly used the winter months to catch up on my personal work. I'm thrilled to share this sweet moment of a barefoot summer day in WyOming (baby girl dialect). This short film holds a treasure of time documenting the carefree moments of a childhood afternoon.

The best part of traveling to Jackson Hole this summer was getting to stay with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and my 13 month old niece. They recently moved out there and we were all eager to make a visit and check things out. I loved that I got to use my camera a whole bunch chasing kids around in the yard. Honestly, they paid very little attention to the camera- which I love that best. Every evening before dinner, we would all unwind outside in the divinely thick, green grass enjoying yard games! It's truly the way summer should be!
